Once you have submitted your application we will review, and check that you meet the entry requirements for your chosen programme. We will also check your application for accuracy – so check all your spelling and grammar before you submit!

An outcome to your initial application will normally be sent within a week.
If your initial application is successful, we will invite you to undertake verbal and numerical reasoning tests that normally take 20-30 minutes each to complete online.

An outcome to your initial application will normally be sent within a week.
Pass these tests and we will arrange a competency-based telephone interview with you. It takes about 30 minutes and gives you the chance to show us that you have some of the key skills we believe are fundamental to success at Santander UK.

The outcome of both your online tests will be sent to you within a week – and if you are successful you will be asked to book a telephone interview online.
The next stage will be to attend an assessment centre, where you will complete a variety of exercises to test your interpersonal skills. As part of this day you will also have a further interview with a senior manager and may be asked to participate in group exercises or give a presentation.

The outcome of your telephone interview will be sent to you within a week. If you are successful we will let you know when the next available assessment centre will be.
After the assessment centre, we will let you know as quickly as possible whether your application has been successful. However, you may be asked to meet us again for a final interview, depending on the business area you are applying for.

We will let you know the final outcome, usually within a week after your assessment centre date.
If you are successful, you will be made a verbal offer of a position, subject to you meeting our Fraud, Credit and Referencing checks.

Depending on which application process you are going through, you may be offered an imminent start date. Other programmes will start in autumn 2010.
